創業者 大谷修司(右２) 新潟市「大谷洋服店」店主。

Founder Shuji Ohtani (right 2) Owner of "Otani Custom Clothes Store" in Niigata City.

1965年 東京の京橋に「テーラー アスコット」を出店。店名は紳士・淑女がお洒落をして観戦を楽しむロンドン郊外「アスコット競馬場」より。

1965 Opened "Tailor Ascot" in Kyobashi, Tokyo.
The name of the store is from "Ascot Racecourse" in the suburbs of London where gentlemen and ladies can enjoy watching games in Royal style.

大谷修一(左)　輸入服地商の仕事(バイヤー)を通し広く英国服地を全国のテーラーに紹介。功労者として英国王室より表彰される。

Shuichi Otani (left) Introducing British clothing to tailors nationwide through the buyerwork of imported clothing land dealers. He is honored by the British royal family as a meritorious person.

2014年より渋谷(青山学院方面)に移転。縫製工場～京橋店勤務を経て大谷潤がテーラーアスコットの代表に。引き続きご愛顧よろしくお願いいたします。

Moved to Shibuya (Aoyama Gakuin area) from 2014. After working at the Kyobashi store from a garment factory, Jun Otani became the representative of Tailor Ascot.
